Hey everyone, just wanted to share with you a quick introduction to the BackLOG. So if you're not a fan of watch movies (seems like an odd thing to say given the topic here) and didn't like checking out my ugly mug on the video above, here's what you missed.
Essentially, I'm a bit of a cinema-holic (Hiii Jooooe...) and over the last 15-16 years I've developed a nice movie collection full of films that I really loved, really wanted to own, or really wanted to share with other people. I've also amassed a collection of movies I've picked up on a whim; some have been amazing (House of Sand and Fog), some have been dreadful (Broken Flowers...ugh). And some have been ignored...like the 100 films featured in this blog.
So, I figured why not end 2011 with a bang? So for the final 100 days of the year I'm going to randomly select one of the 100 movies from the backlog and regardless of my mood or what I got going on or how drunk I am, I am going to make time for that movie and give you guys a review the next day.
Some of these I am really excited to watch. Some of them simply scare the crap out of me (they were cheap...shut up.). So keep checking back here, I'll be pulling the first movie tonight (September 22) and start cranking through this baby tomorrow! Feel free to tell me what you think, I have a feeling I'm going to really need some positive encouragement here...
